The 4D ODBC Connectivity plug-ins allow 4D to communicate with any data source accessible by an ODBC driver, enabling you to handle the data and structure of a SQL data source. 4D ODBC can provide access to nearly all SQL and ODBC applications on the market. You can build anything from simple queries to transaction-based client/server applications. 4D ODBC can be used with the other 4D Connectivity Plug-in 4D for ORACLE, and with the 4D Productivity Plug-ins such as 4D Write and 4D Draw. 4D ODBC easily connects with products developed by third party vendors.
