The 4D View plug-in delivers incredible strength to 4D applications with its integrated spreadsheet capabilities and comprehensive set of enhanced data viewing features. 4D View provides spreadsheet functions including calculations, projections, and analyses, along with data-viewing features such as the programming of dynamic input interfaces and calculation lists, printable lists, and more. Supporting applications that already use either 4D Calc or AreaList Pro plug-ins, 4D View achieves compatibility between 4D Calc and AreaList Pro by automatically re-mapping the commands used by these other plug-ins, eliminating the need for re-coding. With 160+ new commands, Quick Report Editor links, the ability to build dynamic forms, and much more, 4D View will bring an enormous set of new capabilities to your 4D applications.
New commands give you the unprecedented ability to create dynamic forms using 4D methods. Dynamic forms offer 4D applications the ultimate in user-interface capabilities.
Quick Report editor is extended to include printing to a 4D View area. When you print to a 4D View area, the report output is contained in cells and the report formulas (e.g. count, average, etc.) are also maintained as cell formulas.
4D View can build entire forms completely with 4D methods. Dynamic forms can contain user-interface elements such as pop-up buttons and check boxes, expanding your set of custom, user-interface tools.
4D View supports 4D applications which use 4D Calc and AreaList Pro commands with no need for re-coding.
