4D SA to Transfer Operational Support of 4D Business Kit to 4D Net Center

4D Net Center to take over customer support today

BIEL, SWITZERLAND and CLICHY, FRANCE, May 24, 2005 - 4D, Inc., a leading maker of software solutions that simplify the process of developing and deploying database applications, today announced its parent company 4D SA is preparing to transfer operational support of the 4D Business Kit to 4D Net Center, an Internet hosting company based in Biel, Switzerland.

The 4D Business Kit offers Web developers a powerful e-commerce solution tailored to the specific characteristics and budgets of small- to medium-sized businesses. The business kit combines a Web server, Web programming language, multi-store administrator and a powerful database, with a set of security, online payment and sales relations management tools to provide a complete turnkey solution.

4D SA and its international subsidiaries will discontinue its development, distribution, maintenance and customer support of the 4D Business Kit as of 8 a.m. (Pacific Standard Time) today, at which time those responsibilities will be transferred to 4D Net Center.
